RIGAS RITMI FESTIVAL is one of the most attended and popular music festivals in Latvia. The festival’s stages at different locations in Riga feature world-famous and award-winning musicians, as well as young and promising musical talents.

The idea to arrange an international contemporary jazz and improvisation music festival in Riga belongs to the Latvian jazzman and producer Maris Briezkalns, who currently holds the position of the festival’s artistic director. The project director meanwhile is the outstanding musician and composer Raimonds Pauls, who turns 85 this year.

The Rigas Ritmi Festival has become an essential part of the Latvian and Baltic cultural life recording the name of Riga in the tourist guides and jazz culture. Over two decades, more than 600 musicians from around the world were presenting on stages that welcomed more than 200 thousand spectators.

2020 has been a tough year for the music industry that faced significant issues caused by the global pandemic. The quarantine restrictions on holding public events, as well as closure of all borders have led to cancellation of concerts and performances, and it adversely affected wellbeing of many people involved in tourism and entertainment, including the RIGAS RITMI FESTIVAL musicians.

At our company, we understand how hard the situation gets for artists and want to support musicians and organizers of the festival. Thus, Pro Logistic Services SIA joined a list of sponsors and friends of the festival by providing financial assistance to the project. We believe that supporting people during hard times would give them hope and confidence; it may also lead as example for everyone to lend a helping hand to people who are currently facing life difficulties.
